Suzanne Mernyk is a playwright, performer, producer, director and classical flutist.

She has performed on stages in New York City and regionally. Most recently seen in Home Brewed, a Theatre 68 production, featured as both an actor and playwright; "Pieces of Paper Project" written and directed by Michael Simon Hall at the Irondale; "Vincent 1979", directed by Ron Stetson at The Neighborhood Playhouse; and Plaza Suite for Curtain Call Theatre in Stamford, CT.

Other recent performances in two of her own one-act plays, Trevor or Trent and An Old Wife Tale for the NYC Samuel French OOB Short Play Festival

A Stand-Up comic, Suzanne has performed at Carolines Comedy Club, Stand-Up New York, Gotham Comedy Club, The Broadway Comedy Club, The Duplex and many others.

As a produced playwright, her play, Serenade in C, was recently produced for the Manhattan Repertory Theatre. She leads Characters, Ink. Playwrights Collective, a workshop in NYC for those who want to bring their stories and characters to life for the stage. Previously, she co-founded and co-chaired The Playwrights Roundtable. She has studied play writing with Mary Humphrey Baldridge as a member of the Neighborhood Playhouse Playwrights Lab and at NYU. Suzanne was honored to have her written work produced by The Neighborhood Playhouse in an evening entitled, Fortune Cookies, showcasing her as a playwright, comic, and actor. Her new full-length play, "Auto Body Beautiful" was also produced as a staged reading,  directed by Ron Stetson.
